Another Sunday home alone while Joel's at work. I decided that I would give the house a pretty good cleaning today. I did the usual dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and bathrooms. I also washed the kitchen cabinets and windows, did 3 loads of laundry, and caught up on filing in the office. I just uploaded pictures from the camera and plan on ordering prints to fill all the frames we got for our wedding. The 2 bedrooms and office need pictures hung and I would love to hang some in the living room as well. It's been almost 10 months since our wedding, and my bridal portrait and all those frames that were graciously given as gifts are still piled up on the bottom bunk bed waiting for me to pick pictures to fill them. I'm determined to get it finished tonight!
Joel and I spent Memorial Day weekend at the Outer Banks with his family. We stayed in a phenomenal house in Corolla that had a theatre, game room, four bedrooms with on suite bathrooms, large living room and kitchen, pool, hot tub, 5 decks, and so much more. We were the first renters to stay and it was perfect! I wish I could build it in Mebane; besides a few minor things, it's my dream house! We climbed the Currituck Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge, and Wright Brother's Memorial. Joel and I are going back for our 1 year anniversary trip in August. We will be traveling the entire Outer Banks and visiting the other lighthouses and historical areas. It can't come fast enough!
